Roof playground at Bishan Junction 8

We happened to pass by the roof playground in Bishan Junction 8.   It was a simple playground without much things but my boys won't give it a miss.  The structure looks scaring to me though

Race Me at NUS

Race Me - a soap box derby race.   We attended the finals at NUS.

The weather was scorching hot.   As usual, Png Png who is scared of the sun like me was not interested in the race.   He was more interested in walking around and looking around the campus.

We hid at the foyer of a sports hall to see the race.   I saw the soap box drove by Ann Kok.
The soap box was more appealing to me.
Chen Chen participated in some of the activities.

It was eye opening and we had fun though Png Png was moody and wanted to leave due to the hot weather.

Teacher's day

Png Png wanted to make card for his teachers on Teacher's day.   These were what he made with my assistance.   Some of the cards were already given to his teachers before I took this picture.
Surprisingly, Chen Chen was not keen to make anything or buy gift for his teachers this year.    His reasons were, he didn't know what to buy or what to make.    I asked him to think of something that is useful to his teacher and I will help him with the card.    He thought of buying red pen.   That's a very practical gift for teacher.    I google searched and helped him came out with a tulip card.    The red pen made the stalk of the tulip.
