I baked strawberry pie to go with this lapbook

This is the first time I bake strawberry pie.   Verdict is "YUMMY!"

Mommy's birthday

My mom wanted to have her birthday treat at a vegetarian restaurant for a change.  She saw a write up in the Life magazine on a vegetarian restaurant called Eight Treasures Vegetarian Restaurant 八宝素食馆 in China and wanted to try this restaurant.   So, we brought her to the 八宝素食馆 for her birthday feast.   This restaurant is near Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

The waitress brought dining set for kids for Png Png.   Look, it is so cute!

Png Png enjoyed the food very much.   This was the first time he dined in a vegetarian restaurant

My mom enjoyed the food but it was taxing for her to walk up the steep stairs.   Though she likes the food but no second visit for her due to the stairs.

Garfield

Png Png likes cat very much.   He saw a sports car kiddy ride at Compass Point shopping mall that has Garfield as passenger.   Without hesitation, he jumped  into the driver seat and happily "driving" away.

Pita bread

There was offer for pita bread in Giant supermarket.   I have never bought pita bread before.   So, I gave it a try.

Sports day in Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem held the annual Olympic today.   This is the last year that Png Png takes part in the Olympic as it is for students and parents from N2 and below.  K1 and K2 kids will be the cheer leaders.   Teacher Xiao and N2 kids.

There were games for both parents and child to take part.   However, I didn't manage to take picture of the games I played with Png Png.   Initially he took part in all the games.   Half way through, he got distracted and ran around with his classmate, Joshua. 

This is a game whereby children sat behind the cloth screen and stuck out their hand through the coloured hole.  Each parent had to touch the hands of the children to feel which one is his/her child.

 Bunny hop game.    Png Png refused to take part in this game.

Happy birthday my dear

Tomorrow is hubby's birthday but we celebrated today as tomorrow is Monday.   I baked cupcakes for hubby.   I used kaya to cream hubby's initial.
