Angry Birds cable car ride

A member from Recycle forum offered free cable car ride ticket for children below 12 year old.   I asked for 2 tickets for my boys.

At the ticketing counter, I found out that the cable car ticket for an adult costs $29, family ticket for 2 adults and 1 child costs $55.   Of course I bought family ticket instead of using 2 free cable car ride child tickets.  It is more worth it to get family ticket.   Besides cheaper price in total, every ticket purchase comes with a complimentary Angry Birds face mask and cocktail drink in collectible Angry Birds cup

There was full range of Angry Birds stuffed toys sold in the souvenir shop next to the cable car station.

There are Angry Birds interactive game booths but they were closed when we got there.   So, we took photos of the Angry Birds motif there
Angry Birds cable car which is just for show, not for visitor ride as the whole cable car is wrapped up with the Angry Birds picture.
We boarded this cable car

Beautiful sceneries

We reached Sentosa early.   So,  we took our own sweet time to take our bread dinner before exploring the way to our next destination.
Our next destination was Resorts World Sentosa Waterfront to watch The Crane Dance.   This is the main purpose of this trip.   Though we were early, the audience seats were almost fully occupied.   Had we know about the situation, we would have taken dinner here at the audience seats.    Luckily we managed to find empty space comfortably sufficient for the 4 of us.   However, Chen Chen kept shifting in to let other late comers in while hubby was away to get familiarized with the route back to the cable car station.  We ended up with space comfortable enough for 3.   We had to squeezed ourselves closed together to fit in hubby.

The Crane Dance tells the love story of a pair of mechanical cranes.   The graceful courtship dance of the pair of giant robot cranes is accompanied by colorful lights, water effect, pounding music and big TV screens with animation on the crane's body.   Their love for each other transforms them into real birds.

The performance took about 10 minutes and it ended with beautiful firework.
It was raining after the performance.    We had to rush to catch the last cable car trip back to Singapore island.
Chen Chen was glued to the game station after we exit from the cable car.
Another round of photo session in the toilet at The Jewel Box, this time round in the ladies
