Philatelic museum

I thought it is a good experience to bring my boys to visit Philatelic museum since snail mails are rarely sent nowadays with the advance in technology.   Besides, stamps with pictures are not commonly seen with the machine printed stamps

The exterior of Philatelic museum.

Stickers for visitors to the museum

At the main gallery.   Where do we go?  Wash room.   I like the unique gents/ladies sign outside the wash room.

Outside the washroom, there is Baby elephant Emily which is seen quite commonly.   Hmm... wonder why?   There is a write up on Baby Emily

Beautiful umbrellas on the ceiling of the main gallery

On the upper level, we saw spice exhibition

There is a wheel which states why spices are important.

My boys enjoyed turning the wheel round and round

The map on the wall shows crop cultivation area in early days of Singapore.     Png Png loves pressing the button which shows the various crop cultivation areas.   He couldn't bear to leave this station.

This year is year of dragon, there is a room with exhibits of dragon.
