Home Teaching - The Empty Pot

The Empty Pot is a Chinese folk tale that teaches the readers about Integrity.    I like this book very much.    I used it for our lapbook study this month.

The following activities were extracted from

Seasons, months, weeks, days in a year

Color parts of flower
Plant a seed experiment.   We planted raw and cooked mung beans and black beans.   We observed that mung bean grows faster than black bean.  We had to shortened the duration of the observation extracted from Home school share before the mung beans withered.    We also observed that the raw beans grew into plants but the cooked beans did not grow.   Mould grew on them instead.
