My daddy's birthday treat

Today is my beloved daddy's birthday.   I brought him and mom to Furama Riverfront for buffet lunch

 

There was a 1 for 1 buffet promotion at The Square in Furama Riverfront for payment using Citibank credit card.   The promotion is only applicable to adult but not child price.  I paid $80++ for 4 adults instead of $160++ for 4 adults.   It is worth it though I have to pay for Chen Chen which is only $16++

There was a very wide spread of food but I didn't manage to take picture of many dishes.   

Cold dish included prawns mussels, ham and my favourite smoked salmon.  Forgot to take picture of my favourite smoked salmon.   It came in plain and with spices.   Yummy licking good.

Indoor playground in Changi Airport - Canopy

We booked cruise tickets with Seiki Travel at Changi Airport terminal 3.    With the receipt of the cruise ticket purchase, we could redeem many free plays at Canopy and T3 slides.   With every $30 spent, we could exchange for 30 minute free play per child at Canopy for Changi reward member.   We even brought Chen Chen's classmates, course mates and Png Png's classmates to enjoy the free play.

Canopy is a forest-themed indoor playground.   It is located at Viewing Mall, Level 3 at Terminal 1

Teacher's day cards and presents

With effect from this year, Teacher's day will be observed on the first Friday in September.

I guided Png Png to make teacher's day card for his teachers.   He wrote the words on the card for English words.   As he can't write Chinese character yet, I wrote the Chinese characters and let him trace the words

 I bought encouraging stamps for my two boys' teachers.   

Game station at Bishan library

There was a WII game station at the foyer of Bishan library.   Needless to say, Chen Chen won't miss it out.   Png Png, as usual followed what his brother does.

Home learning - Mrs Wishy Washy

I had a hard time looking for the story book Mrs Wishy Washy.   It is only available in Ang Mo Kio library.   It was loaned out a few times when I was at Ang Mo Kio library, yet I could not find the story book when it was in the library.   I decided to seek the librarian for help.   One very kind librarian helped me to seek high and low for the book but still to no avail.   She said the book is probably kept in the office as it is a very old book.   The library keeps very old books in the office and will be removed from the shelf for public.   She helped me to seek the supervisor's help.   True enough, the book was in the office.   She said she searched the book till she wanted to cry and her colleagues blamed her for being nosy.  I am very grateful for her dedication and help.   She is one dedicated librarian hard to come by.
